March 17, 2024 - Vocation in Exile (Acts 18, Jeremiah 29)

Pricilla & Aquilla were ministers with Paul: they engaged commerce, interacted with customers, and produced goods and services for the benefit of those around them – including many non-believers. They worked for the glory of God, displayed his character in their work, cared for God’s people, and declared Jesus. It’s common to think of ministry as happening in church-type settings, and to think of paid professionals as ministers and missionaries – but it’s in the context of everyday life that much ministry can happen
